Where did November go?
Man I missed a whole month! Hope you all had a great Turkey Day! So what happened in November????
I have seen some new places. I have now ventured to Cleveland, OH...well suburbs at least. It was pretty cool. I had a job at one of the Philips facilities, and we toured the facility. They make CT Scanners and MRI's there, plus a few other things. Those MRI's are CRAZY and EXPENSIVE. Then again allot of the equipment there is expensive. It is pretty interesting to see how they put everything together and how long it takes from start to finish. Plus they hold a lot of training at this facility for customers and employees.
I have now been to Austin, TX as well. I stayed in Downtown Austin at the Hilton Garden Inn. It was annoying because you have to park your car, and the only way to park it at the hotel is to have it parked by a valet. 25/night to park the car. There is no other option. Plus I would say I was in the "Ghetto" of Austin. According to the hotel staff it is best to not walk around at night in that area. Blah blah blah. Who goes walking in a strange area at night by yourself anyway? I had to rescue one my fellow cohorts. He hurt his back and was trying to drive to a job, and got to the point where he couldn't drive anymore, he couldn't even stand up. He was about an hour away, so I drove up and picked him up. Then another coworker from Houston drove up and we went back to get his rental car and return it. 5 hours worth of driving back and forth...wheeeee.
Afterwards I did a couple of jobs in Waco, TX and then stayed up in Arlington. I was able to go to Dennis and Wendy's and hung out with Ryan. Ryan and I went to Fort Worth and bar hopped all night. We all flew back to SLC about the same time, they were on American and I was on Delta.
We spent Turkey day at the in-laws. So we ate dinner with Mike and Susan, Lindsay, Rachael, Scott, Louis (Shannon's Uncle), Brady (Louis's son), and Kyson (Brady's Son). They ate late because Rachael didn't get there until ~4. They didn't have any yams or sweet potatoes. :(
Afterwards Scott's kids came over. So we got to see Dallan and Brooklyn. Then we went back to my parents and hung out with the rest of the family.
Sat after Tday dad, Todd, and I went to our Annual Turkey Shoot setup by Muskrat of the Willow Creek Free Trappers. He does this annually for the Homeless Vets. He takes all proceeds and donates it plus any clothes we can donate. This is a trap shoot using Black Powder Muzzleloader Shotguns. We have 6 stations to shoot from and 2 birds per station, 1 round before lunch, and one after. For lunch they had octo-pork sandwiches (Pulled Pork) and some Elk Chili. Dad took first place overall, so he won $40.00, and I took 2nd so I won $30.00.
Plus they have a raffle after as well. It worked out well. Dad paid the 25 to play and then 15 in raffle, so he won back what it cost him. I paid my 25 and 5 for the raffle, so I ended up even as well.

Posting...
is overrated.
Work work work, all day long, I work work work while I sing this song.
Ok 10 things I have done since I last posted.
1. End of Sept...I went Deer hunting...didn't shoot at anything. But a bad day hunting is better than a good day working.
2. First of Sept...Peach Days...yea....umm...it gets more boring every year. The parade is still fun tho.
3. Installed 3 labs in Boulder, Colorado....not fun, but I found a great Vietnamese food shop called Chez Thuy.
4. Went to Florida for 2 weeks straight, working at our division offices. Stayed on the beach. Never touched the sand. However we did go to Daytona's Biketober Fest. Good times there. Wish I had a bike.
5. I have been watching football! Geaux Saints!
6. I am at a loss here...can I just change it to 5 things?
7. Rumor has it I have a family, somewhere in Utah.
8. In a month's time I have been home 2 Full days, and 2 Half Days, and 2 Partial Days (get home at ~10 PM) So that makes about 3 Days and a few hours total.
9. Oh yea, I got some new Glasses...I don't have to wear my old ones from High School.
10. I have a new fav series on TV, called TrueBlood, on HBO. Vampires rule.
Ok there ya go.
Vote McCain!

Meeting of the Mountain Men
So over Labor day weekend we always have the Willow Creek Free Trappers Rendezvouz.
We had alot of fun! They changed it a little this year to include more family activities.
Dad and I went up there Tues before Labor day and we came home on Labor day, 6 nights of camping. Todd (bro-in-law) came up Friday morning, and the 3 of us got our shoots done. Yes shooting of the weapons, however everything at a Rendezvouz is using Black Powder Muzzleloaders. That way we had all of Saturday to relax! Shannon and our 3 monkeys came up Friday night. They got to play kids games, bingo, bb gun shooting, tomahawk throwing, and turtle races. They always like coming up there. Sunday we had a Black Powder Muzzleloader Shotgun Shoot. They split us into teams, my partner and I had a shoot off for 3rd Place, however we lost, but it was awesome.
Sunday afternoon it started raining on us, it got real cold, and it was raining pretty hard for the rest of the night.
Check out some pics I took.

So it has been requested that I put some of my kids gymnastics and such on here.
Most of their competitions are on tape (I know I am old school).
One day I will own a Digital Camcorder.
So here are a few from our digital camera.

Long time No Blog
So it has been a while since I have blogged last. I have been pretty busy. Traveling everywhere. This week has been nice tho, no calls! I actually have sat at home for once. I went to Delaware last week. And there is nothing neat about the "First State".
Matt and Kari came out last night, we bbq'd some chicken and had dinner, followed by Rock Band on my PS3. Matt gave me the hook up on his old Xbox that was broken (3 Red Lights of Death). So after they left I tore it apart ripped off the old clamps for the heatsinks, took off the old thermal paste, cleaned everything up. Than this morning I went about about $10.00 worth of hardware and put the xbox back together. Problem solved. No more Red lights of Death. Xbox works great. Unfortunatly I don't have anything to test it with (No games to play). But as of now, it works.
Kids are doing great, playing softball/machine pitch/tee ball. Went camping a few nights. Kids took swimming lessons. Now they aren't as afraid of the water. Kylee and Kelsey now dare to jump off the diving board into the deep end.

Something to write about
Hmmmm so I guess I haven't had anything to say.
Camping this year is going to be a joke. Doesn't look like it will be that often. Father's day being this weekend we were going to go all weekend, however the kids have State Gymnastics Sat so we will be doing that. The following week we are thinking of going to watch the hill climbs in Croyden. Then in July we have a campout with Shannon's whole family so it is kind of hard to figure anything out.
Other than that...work work work work.

da-da-da-da-da-da-da-da HANDYMAN
So I put in a monster AC in our window. 25000 BTU, weighs about 450 pounds...ok exaggeration. But it is huge, has the thermometer on it and you can set it up, kinda fancy, has a remote. Took a few hours. Then I was still in handyman mode and I put up two new light fixtures in the kitchen. I ROCK. Now it is time to relax and play some playstation.

New new new new new fun :)
So it is almost my bday....8 more days.
I wanted a blu ray DVD player seems how they are High Definition, and I might as well have it if my TV has the capability....so I went and looked. The cheapest blu ray DVD player was 399.99 so after looking around the Playstation 3 is 399.99.
So I bought a Playstation 3.
Playstation 3's have a blu ray dvd player!!!
So now I have a Blu Ray DVD Player, and a Gaming Console all in 1!!!!
WOOOOOT!
Bought 2 games for it and also bought Blu Ray DVD "Golden Compass".
Watching the movie in High Def is AWESOME!!
The clarity is sooooo nice.
Nice thing is with NetFlix is I can get Blu Ray DVD's instead of regular ones at no extra charge.
So that is my Early B-day present.
Shannon and the girls went and got them Season Passes at Lagoon. I don't want one, because I can't ride any of the rides, and I turn into a babysitter. So I opted to stay at home and study the Playstation....ok so all I did was play it all day. Even tho I did go out and fix my sprinklers and test them so my lawn will be green.
So now my issue is, should I get Rock Band for the PS3 or for the WII when it comes out in June. I think I will wait for the WII version. I already have 1 guitar for the WII so I would have the full set. If I get it for the PS3 then I will be down a controller.

Blogg Off!
So I have done the whole Canada thing some more. I tell you it has been stressfull! This is a "high profile" account. So everything had to be perfect. But as of now, it is all golden!
Things are good! We have another new dog. So now Shannon has her little yapper, and I have a real dog!
Ok so I don't really have gray hair! It is a colored hair gel, we bought white, blue, and green. So I decided to try the white.
Old Man!
Now I have a few gray hairs!!!!

Busy Busy
Well it has been a while since I posted!
2 Weeks ago I was in Bismarck, ND installing some new equipment. I flew into Fargo and drove across the state, flying into Bismarck was about 1200 bux roundtrip.
Last week I left the house early Sunday morning flew into Seattle, picked up my asst. manager and we went to Vancouver, BC, Canada. We had a high priority install going on up there. Things went surprisingly smooth. Friday we had the day to ourselves so we drove up to Whistler, BC. They will be hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics. We drove back to Seattle Fri night and came home Saturday morning.
My first flight was cancelled, it was made for 7:00 AM so I could get home early, they cancelled that flight due to mechanical issues. They put me on the next flight at 10:00 AM. Once I got to SLC, NO BAGS!!! They left my bags in Seattle. Oh well, they delivered them last night about 10 min to midnight.
Here are some pics of my trip. These pictures are between Vancouver and Whistler, British Columbia, Canada.

Yesterday was Lexi's bday! She just turned 7. I wasn't home in time for her bday party with the in-laws. They had lunch and went bowling. Then we had a bday party for her up here with my side of the family, opened stuff and had cupcakes.
Also while I was gone, we had plumbing issues at the house...Kelsey didn't know she couldn't flush papertowels, so it proceded to clog the toilet and plunging would not budge it. So Dad and I tore out the toilet and then the auger got stuck on part of the toilet and it broke. So about 8:30 last night we headed to Home Depot and bought a new one. It was a "crappy" job!

Friday...day of work.
So I had to go to work today. So that is why I am late filling this out. At least it was only in Payson that I had to go to. I met my friend and his family at Teppanyaki's in Lehi for dinner, then ran out to his house and played some Rock Band. They live out in Eagle Mountain, clear out, the original town center, not the Ranches, that would be too convenient.
Dinner was good, it consisted of Soup, Salad, Sashimi Sushi - Sake - (Raw Salmon on Rice), Egg Roll, Chicken Teriyaki stick, Shrimp, Steak, Salmon (cooked), Fried Rice, Fried Vegetables, and Ice Cream.
No I didn't eat it all. I even gave my ice cream to my friends kids. A lot of Food! The Sushi here was a little on the fishy taste side, but not bad, I usually won't eat anything if it has a strong fish taste, so it was within my limits.
Anyway, off to dream land, have a great weekend!

Memory Lane
Now on to memory lane.
The Movie Stand By Me!
Wow, I remember watching this movie as a kid. It is crazy to watch it now and see all the actors grown up. Besides River, seems how he OD'd when he was at his peak.
So if you haven't watched it lately, do so.
I added some more retro music to my list from the movie :)
Check my sweet Mullet!

Words from Big Z
Yaya attempted school again today, but Shannon had to go and pick her up cuz she was sick. Kelsey attempted school as well. She lasted longer, until almost 1 and then we had to go get her as well. So it was another lazy day around here. The kids felt good enough to go to gymnastics today and Lexi went with Shannon to the pool. Shannon meets here friends there to "exercise", but I think it is just playing in the water. Meanwhile I went to the Jazz game with Myk, Lindsay, and Dave. We had upperbowl tickets but Myk had bought some off of ebay right before we left and they were lower bowl tickets. At half time he called and said we should move down there if we could because the seats next to them were empty. So we moved down there and sat in their seats, so that way if we got "busted" they would move up to our seats and then we would owe them only 10 bux to use the seats for the second half. We never got caught! woooot So it was fun sitting in the lower bowl for the total cost of 15 bux for the night. Jazz won, beat them Timberwolves from Minne-snow-ta. It was a great game! Here are some pics from my cell.

Tuesday - Sick day
Well today Kelsey and Kylee were sick, Kylee stayed home all day and Shannon had to go pick Kelsey up from school. Can't wait for the gunk to clear out!
Nothing else really happened today. I finished reading the Amber Spyglass. The ending was dumb. It wasn't too bad of a book. Now I need something interesting to read. I like the magical type books. The Potters were all good. Maybe it is time to start reading more of the Koontz books.
